Condition

This is an elegant ladies vintage Baume & Mercier Geneve in solid 18ct yellow gold from the early 1970s, presented in excellent original condition. This stunning watch features a striking clean coral dial with Dauphine hands, housed within a unique, solid 18ct gold case with twisted rope design that extends to the large lugs. The watch is powered by its original hand-wound movement, which is working perfectly, keeping excellent time within specifications.

Dial - The coral dial is in excellent condition, showing beautiful natural inclusions and little wear on close inspection. 

Crown - The crown remains in excellent condition and works perfectly.

Case - The solid 18ct gold case is in fantastic condition showing only extremely light signs of wear.

Back case - The original and stamped solid 18ct gold back case is in excellent condition, showing only very light wear.

Movement - The original Baume & Mercier manual wind movement is in excellent condition, working very well and keeping excellent time within specification. 

Crystal - The mineral crystal is in fantastic condition, no visible marks, only fine surface scratches and little patina visible under special light and magnification.

Strap - The watch comes an aftermarket strap, which remains in new condition.
