Condition

For sale today is this beautiful Breitling Geneve Sprint Chronograph from the mid-1960s. The watch has a very distinctive dial with a outer tachymeter/pulsations track on a silver back, blue surf board area for the sub dials (seconds and 45 minute register) and distinctive white and orange hands along with a movable 12 hour bezel all encased within a tonneau shaped 38mm case. This piece is running perfectly within vintage specification.

Dial - Despite its age the dial looks spectacular and shows just light wear. The tritium spots are still present and the hands are still in good condition as well.

Crystal - The crystal is in fantastic condition showing little signs of wear whatsoever. 

Case - The stainless steel case still has brushwork on the front with the usual wear that you would associate with a watch of this age.

Strap - We have put this watch on a new leather strap which suits the watch perfectly. 

Back case - The back case is original, in good vintage condition showing some wear and age. All markings are clearly visible.

Movement - The manual movement is in excellent cosmetic condition as well as working very well mechanically. The watch is keeping excellent time within specification. 

Crown - The crown and pushers are in great condition, original and fully functional.  

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
