Condition

This lovely vintage Must de Cartier Tank dating from the 1980s, features an elegant small black dial with gold sword hands beneath a domed crystal, housed in a gold-plated sterling silver (925) vermeil case. What makes this watch particularly interesting is an additional period engraving on the side of the case back: "B 091-AM" and "ZF – MANAUS". While not a Cartier factory marking, it is believed to be a historic inventory or import/distribution engraving relating to the Zona Franca de Manaus (Brazilian Free Trade Zone), adding an intriguing chapter to the watch's history. The watch is in lovely vintage condition, showing charming signs of age and careful wear. The Cartier quartz movement is running perfectly and keeping excellent time.

Dial - The dial is in nice vintage condition, showing signs of age, patina and lovely spidering effect. 

Case - Excellent, showing only light wear. 

Crown - The sapphire cabochon crown is original and works perfectly in all its functions. 

Movement - This piece encases its original Cartier quartz movement which is working perfectly and keeping excellent time. 

Case back - The original case back is in excellent condition and shows only very light wear. All the Cartier and additional markings and original brushwork are beautifully clear and well preserved.

Strap - This watch comes on an an original Cartier strap which suits the watch perfectly and remains in very good condition.

Crystal - Very good condition, no visible scratches, showing small imperfections and patina on the inside.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
