Condition

This striking vintage Cartier Must de Paris Tank from 1981 features a fantastic blue dial that evokes a star-filled night sky beneath its domed crystal. The classic Tank case is crafted from gold-plated 925 silver and is complemented by Cartier’s signature fluted crown, set with a blue sapphire cabochon. Presented with its original box and papers, this example has been well preserved and remains in excellent condition for its age, with only minimal signs of wear. Powered by its Cartier quartz movement, the watch is running flawlessly and keeping excellent time.

Dial - The dial is truly stunning with perfect spidering and a little age related patina, adding to the authenticity and charm of this watch.

Case - Excellent, showing only mild signs of common wear, including a little plating loss on lugs. 

Crown - The original fluted crown with sapphire cabochon insert is original and works perfectly in all its functions. 

Movement - This piece encases its original Cartier quartz movement which is working perfectly and keeping excellent time. 

Case back - The case back is in excellent condition and shows light common wear. 

Strap - This Cartier comes on a new leather strap which suits the watch perfectly and has a luxurious feel on your wrist. 

Crystal - Excellent condition, the domed crystal maintains perfect clarity; under a loupe the surface is showing fine wear.
