Condition

This is an exceptional 1980s Cartier Santos Carree with date featuring a rare and desirable Godron bracelet with integrated 18ct gold. The Santos case also features an 18ct gold bezel and a beautiful dial featuring some of the signature markings of Cartier including hidden signature within Roman numerals, blued sword hands and a rail track. This particular example presents in spectacular condition throughout and in perfect mechanical operation.

Dial - The dial is in fantastic condition, showing off a stunning spidering as you twist it in the light, presented with no signs of wear, maintaining its original look and character perfectly.

Case - This piece features a stainless steel case with an 18ct gold bezel which are in fantastic condition, displaying very minimal signs of use and retaining its original finishing beautifully.

Crown - The Cartier hexagonal shaped crown with sapphire stone is entirely original and in perfect condition, functioning flawlessly in all of its positions.

Movement - The original Cartier Automatic movement is performing excellently, keeping time within specification.

Case back - The case back is in excellent condition, showing only light wear, and remarkably still retains some of its original red wax in the engravings, a rare detail that speaks to the watch's exceptional preservation.

Strap - The original Godron bracelet with integrated 18ct gold links is in fantastic condition, showing little signs of wear whatsoever. This rare bracelet variant makes this example particularly special and collectible.

Crystal - The crystal is in mint condition, maintaining perfect clarity throughout.
