Condition

This is something a little different from what we normally stock and this is a beautiful and rare watch from CWC (Cabot Watch Company) who are known for supplying military watches. This particular example would have been destined for the British military in the early 90s. It goes without saying that a military watch needed to be durable and reliable and this particualr model is no exception. With a quartz movement it needs relatively little maintenance and can be relied upon to keep accurate time. This example has clearly been very well looked after over the last 30 years or so and remains in superb condition. It is working perfectly and keeping excellent time. Please view images as these form part of the description. A really nice piece of military history.

Dial - As you would expect with a military watch the dial is very distinctive and clear with a black dial and white Arabic numerals all of which remain in superb condition. The lume has aged but is still present on the hour markers and the hands.  

Crystal - The shatterproof plexiglas is showing its age in places but is still clear to the naked eye and you really need a Loupe to see the imperfections.

Case - The case on this piece is very original and has not been polished and consequently retains its original finish. There is the odd scratch and ding, but overall it is in exceptionally nice condition.

Back case - The back case is in very nice condition and shows minor signs of wear mainly from where the strap rubs against it. The  original military markings are all present, clear and correct.

Strap - The watch is fitted with a NATO style strap. 

Movement - The quartz movement is working as it should and keeping accurate time.
