Condition

This is a breathtaking IWC from the 1966 in outstanding condition. This piece features a stunning silver brushed dial, with baton indices alongside a date complication. Mechanically, the watch is working perfectly, keeping excellent time. We have just had this piece fully serviced. It is ready to be enjoyed for years to come by its new owner! 

Dial - The silver dial is in mint condition. 

Case - The stainless steel case is in outstanding condition and is showing just extremely light signs of wear due to age! 

Crown - The original fish crown is working perfectly in all of its functions. The Fish Crown refers to a particular crown design used by IWC on its water-resistant watches between the 1950s and the early 1990s. The crown is easily identified by a small engraved fish symbol—typically a stylised trout or similar—which served as a discreet indicator that the crown was water-resistant. Please note that we cannot guarantee water resistance due to the age of the watch. 

Movement - This watch is powered by its original IWC Automatic movement which is working well and keeping excellent time. 

Case back - The stainless steel case back is fully original and is in great condition, showing some wear. 

Strap - Aftermarket, Mint 

Crystal - The acrylic crystal is in near mint, showing minute imperfections under magnification only.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
