Condition

This is a fantastic opportunity to acquire a distinctive and elegant vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre dress watch, dating from the early 1980s in exceptional, almost new condition. The highlight of this remarkable piece is its stylishly proportioned rectangular case, featuring beautiful gold-plated end pieces with elegantly curved lugs that contrast beautifully with the darker case body. The clean and rich grey satin-finished dial is enhanced by elegant applied Roman numerals at 12 and 6 o'clock, complemented by slender gilt hands and a finely detailed minute track. The quartz movement is running perfectly and keeping excellent time within appropriate vintage specifications. This beautiful watch comes complete with its original signed strap and buckle, which is also gold-plated.

Dial - The dial is in near-mint condition, showing only expected signs of age on hands under magnification.

Case - The stainless steel case with gold plated end bar and lugs is in brilliant condition showing just very fine signs of wear. 

Crown - The original and JLC signed crown works perfectly and remains in fantastic condition.

Movement - The JLC cal. 286 quartz movement is working brilliantly, keeping excellent time.

Case back - The case back is also in near-mint condition, still protected by its original layer of either plastic or wax.

Strap - This watch comes on its original JLC signed strap, which appears to be unworn and an original signed and stamped gold plated buckle.

Crystal - The original mineral crystal is in near-mint condition, showing only extremely light signs of handling under magnification.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
