This is an incredible and beautifully petite Jaeger-LeCoultre dating from the 1950s, featuring a stunning salmon-copper coloured dial with a fascinating two-tone effect. Depending on the angle from which the watch is viewed, the inner circle of the dial appears either lighter or darker, creating a subtle and captivating change in appearance. The dial is beautifully complemented by elegant blued sword hands and a combination of Arabic numerals and fine baton indices. It is housed in a petite 16mm solid 18ct rose gold case, featuring gracefully extended curved lugs that enhance the watch's delicate proportions.
The standout feature of this exceptional timepiece is its large winding crown, which is positioned on the case back rather than the side. This unusual design keeps the deliberately slim and petite profile of the watch beautifully clean and uninterrupted when worn on the wrist.
The watch remains in excellent original condition, presenting beautifully to the naked eye while revealing only gentle signs of age under magnification. Its original manual-winding movement is running well and keeping excellent time within expected vintage specifications.
