Condition

We have for sale this exceptionally beautiful vintage 1960s JLC Automatic wristwatch in solid 18ct gold, which is in lovely vintage condition. This classy timepiece features a timeless design, featuring a beautiful linen dial. The watch is running perfectly, keeping excellent time within specification after a full service.  

Dial - The dial is in fair condition for its age and shows light signs of wear. 

Case - The solid gold case is in outstanding and unpolished condition. It remains sharp and largely mark free. There is some gold patina present which can always been polished out on request. 

Crown - The aftermarket crown works perfectly in its functions of winding and changing time. 

Movement - The JLC mechanical movement is in excellent condition and is working absolutely perfectly for a watch of this age. 

Case back - The original case back is also solid gold and in excellent condition. There are a few light marks.

Strap - We have put this watch on a new leather strap, which suits the watch perfectly and has a very high quality and luxury feel. 

Crystal - The acrylic crystal is in great condition for its age and is showing little to no signs of wear.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
