Condition

This is a fantastic opportunity to acquire one of Jaeger-LeCoultre's most distinctive and elegant vintage dress watches, the Voguematic, dating from the late 1960s. The highlight of this remarkable piece is its striking black dial with gilt baton hour markers, housed within a beautifully sculpted and exceptionally elegant solid 18ct yellow gold case. Powering the watch is Jaeger-LeCoultre's celebrated automatic Voguematic movement, a technical achievement that provides the convenience of self-winding operation, which is running perfectly and keeping excellent time within vintage specifications. The distinctive curved rectangular case sits comfortably on the wrist and is equally suited to both ladies and gentlemen.

Dial - The dial is in beautiful vintage condition, displaying charming light patina and common light age and wear signs visible only on close inspection. 

Case - The solid 18ct gold case is in excellent condition showing just light signs of wear. 

Crown - The crown works perfectly in its functions of winding and changing time.

Movement - The JLC cal. 832 automatic movement is working brilliantly for a watch of this age. 

Case back - The case back is also solid 18ct gold and in excellent condition, showing only very light signs of common wear.

Strap - The strap is an aftermarket replacement which suits the watch perfectly and is in very good used condition.

Crystal - The original 1960s acrylic crystal is in good vintage condition, showing signs of wear on closer inspection and in certain light. However, the overall look is stunning.
