Condition

This is a stunning vintage gold plated Longines Quartz featuring a stylish gold stripey linen dial complemented by elegant round-edges baton stick indices in a slim dress watch case with dog-leg lugs. This piece is in is in exceptional condition for its age showing just light signs of wear. The watch works perfectly and is keeping great time. It also bears an inscription in Japanese as well as a date "1988.4.1." which gives the watch some unique history and an extra story to tell.

Dial - The beautiful gold colour stripey dial is in near-mint condition.

Case - The gold plated case shows only light signs of wear. 

Crown - The original, Longines signed crown works perfectly and is in fantastic condition. 

Movement - The watch encases its original Longines Quartz movement which is working perfectly.

Case back - The original case back is in excellent condition. All markings are sharp and clear and include Japanese inscription with a date - 1988.4.1.

Strap - We have put the watch on a new, high quality strap which suits it perfectly.

Crystal - The crystal is in fantastic condition, there are no visible scratches, only a handful of minute loose particles on the inside of the glass, which are visible under magnification.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
