Condition

This is a spectacular super rare vintage Omega Manual Wind from 1952 with a unique for this watch diagonal hobnail dial, dog-leg lugs and a clear case back, which were very uniquely used in the 1950s together with dial variations. Despite its age, this 18K gold watch is in excellent condition both cosmetically and mechanically, showing just minor wear and little signs of age. This example is a truly special one-off piece and is also still keeping excellent time. 

Dial - The dial on this piece is in fantastic condition for its age and shows only very little wear. 

Case - The gold case is also in great condition showing little scratching and light wear which is almost guaranteed on a watch that is over 70 years old! 

Crown - The original, Omega signed crown is in excellent condition for is age with a little dent on its face and fully operational in its winding and time changing ability.

Movement - The 283 manual wind movement is also in excellent condition both cosmetically and mechanically. 

Case back - The 18K stamped gold case back is in superb condition showing light signs of wear. 

Strap - This piece is fitted to a beautiful leather strap with Omega buckle, which suits the watch perfectly. It has a luxurious feel and fits the wrist very comfortably. 

Crystal - The acrylic crystal is in great condition showing a few minor scratches and marks which are not noticeable without a loupe. 

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
