Condition

This is an incredible vintage Omega Constellation Automatic Chronometer from the early 60s which features a stunning brushed silver dial with facetted Dauphine hands and faceted baton indices. This model features a fantastic looking two tone back case with gold Constellation observatory insert in a stainless steel casing and bracelet all of which are in exceptionally good condition for any vintage age, let alone the 60s! Furthermore, this stunning watch is working perfectly, keeping excellent time. 

Dial - The dial is original and in amazing condition showing some light age patination uneder magnification. 

Case - The case is in fantastic condition showing hardly any wear throughout. 

Crown - The crown is original, and Omega signed. If works perfectly in all of its functions.

Movement - This piece is powered by its original 551 automatic movement which is in superb working order and is keeping great time within specification. 

Case back - The original stainless steel case back with a gold Omega Observatory symbol is in exceptional condition and shows hardly any signs of use or age.

Strap - The bracelet and Omega signed clasp are original to the watch and are in fantastic condition. 

Crystal - The acrylic is in excellent condition with a handful of minute imperfections only visible under magnification and special light.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
