Condition

This is absolutely spectacular and rare vintage Omega Constellation made in the early 60s in solid 18K gold. This piece features a beautiful silver dial which displays a fully functional date complication and very elegant onyx baton indices. A watch like this is rarely found in such fantastic condition for its age! This timepiece is also in perfect working order, keeping excellent time, well within specification after a full service. 

Dial - The dial is in brilliant condition with only one small and light scratch next to the 6 marker. 

Case - The heavy solid gold case is in fantastic condition showing only mild signs of wear.

Crown - This piece features its original Omega stamped crown which works perfectly in all its functions. To change the time, pull the crown out once and rotate. To change the date, it has a semi quick set function whereby you rotate the hands back and forth between the 8 and 12 to bring the date on by one day.

Movement - This watch houses a fully functional 561 Automatic movement which is in perfect working order and is keeping excellent time, well within specification. 

Case back - This piece features its original, also solid gold Constellation stamped back case, which is in stunning condition, showing only very limited wear. 

Strap - This watch is sitting on a new black leather strap which compliments it perfectly.

Crystal - The original and Omega signed crystal is in mint condition. There are little visible signs of wear. 

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
