This rare and spectacular 1968 Omega Constellation Automatic Day-Date Ref. 168.029 features the distinctive Gerald Genta-designed C-case, a striking dark grey dial, and an elegantly fluted bezel. Its fully functional Spanish day-date complication adds charm and practicality to this classic vintage timepiece. Complementing this timepiece is an original Omega brick style bracelet, which is equally impressive and suits the styling of the watch perfectly. The watch is in fantastic working order, keeping excellent time well within specification and preserved in a beautiful condition.

Dial - The dial is in excellent condition with just light signs of age, which are barely visible to the naked eye.

Case - The stainless steel case features some light wear that comes with age. Overall, it is in excellent condition.

Crown - This piece features its original Omega stamped crown which works well in all its functions. To change the time, pull the crown out once and rotate. To change the date, pull the crown out again and it will flick over. The day needs to be changed manually on this calibre by moving the large hand a full 12hour cycle.

Movement - This watch houses a fully functional 751 Automatic movement which is in perfect working order and is keeping excellent time well within specification.

Case back - This piece features its original constellation stamped back case which is in great condition and shows some light wear.

Strap - This watch is sitting on its original Omega bracelet which remains in excellent condition and really works well with this case style and the fabulous dial.

Crystal - The original, Omega signed crystal is in excellent condition with just very fine wear that is not visible to the naked eye.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
