Condition
This is a rare Omega Chronometer Constellation Quartz which we very rarely see come up for sale. It is probably one of the most attractive quartz designs by Omega from the 1970s with an Octagon style case using a grey brushed dial which has the attractive raise coffin style hour markers. This particular example remains in very nice condition and shows the usual wear you would associate with a watch of this age. It comes with its Omega Quartz 1342 booklet.
Dial - The dial is in lovely condition. On close inspection you will see some minor paint loss at the edges especially between 8 and 12.
Case - The stainless steel case is in lovely original condition and shows signs of light scratches.
Crown - The original Omega signed crown is in great condition and is working perfectly in its functions. The inner button within the crown allows you to change the minute hand. You push it down for approx 5 to 10 secs, release and push again to get the seconds hand into a rapid movement.
Movement - This watch is powered by its original Omega CAL 1343 movement which is working perfectly and keeping excellent time within specification
Case back - The case back on this piece is in good condition and shows light signs of wear.
Strap - This piece sits on its original bracelet which has minor scratches and scuffs.
Crystal - The Crystal is in great condition and is free of any scratches.
For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
