Condition

We have for sale an incredible Omega Constellation Quartz from 1990 with its original box, a copy of a purchase receipt and booklets. This stunning watch features a black dial with gold sub dials and dot indices. The stainless steel case with a solid gold bezel also display the Omega signature features such as bezel claws and a case with half-moons. The watch is in stunning condition both cosmetically and mechanically, keeping excellent time. 

Dial - The dial is in very good vintage condition and shows signs of wear and age with oxidisation around the edges and various marks which are only visible on close inspection under loupe. Otherwise, the dial looks clean with no visible marks, featuring two sub dials, one for the date and one for the day. 

Case - The stainless steel case is in excellent condition showing only very light signs of use. The solid gold bezel is in very nice condition too showing just minor scratches. The original brushwork is nicely preserved on both the case and bezel.

Crown - The original, Omega signed crown is in great condition and works perfectly. To change the date, pull the crown to the first position and rotate anti-clockwise. To change the day, pull the crown to position two and rotate through the 24 hour cycle until you reach the required day.

Movement - The original Omega 1445 Quartz is in brilliant condition, works perfectly and keeps excellent time. 

Case back - The case back is original, Omega signed and in excellent condition showing only light signs of use. 

Strap - The watch sits on its original Omega stamped stainless steel and gold bracelet and is in great condition, showing minor scratches. Included are a couple of extra links which would make the watch suitable for 8.7in wrist size.

Crystal - The crystal is in excellent condition with very little wear. There are also some glue marks which have gone brown in places on the edges. This is not easily visible of noticeable.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
