Condition

This is an absolutely gorgeous Omega Geneve Automatic from the 1970s. This example is in superb condition for its age showing just light signs of wear. The watch features a stunning sunburst silver dial which displays a fully functional date complication. Although not serviced by us, when looking at the watch’s movement health and timekeeping abilities on a timegrapher, it is clear that it has had a service fairly recently and is working perfectly for its age. This piece is keeping time within 10-20 seconds a day which for a vintage Omega is excellent.

Dial - The dial is in pristine condition showing no visible flaws. The markers and hands are also in perfect condition.

Case - The case is in good condition for its age and is showing light scratching which is a given for a watch of this age.

Crown - The crown is unfortunately a service replacement. However, it is working perfectly. The time and date change very smoothly. To change the date, the crown needs to be pulled out to its first position and rotated. To change the time it needs to be pulled out to its second position and rotated.

Movement - The movement is fully original and in superb condition both mechanically and cosmetically.

Case back - The case back is also in great condition showing scratches from tools. The watch does have an inscription on the back which makes it unique to anything else out there!

Strap - The watch has been put on a very high quality strap which has a luxurious feel and fits round the wrist very comfortably.

Crystal - The crystal is in near perfect condition showing just a few very light scratches which are nearly invisible even at close inspection.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
