Condition
This is an absolutely gorgeous Omega Geneve Automatic from the 1970s. This example is in superb condition for its age showing just light signs of wear. The watch features a stunning sunburst silver dial which displays a fully functional date complication. Most importantly the watch comes with full box and papers which includes the inner box, outer box, original purchase invoice dated 23rd June 1975 from J & A Smith in Surrey who were Omega agents, PLUS the International Guarantee and the 'You and Your Omega' booklet. Mechanically, the watch is working perfectly and keeping great time within specification. The perfect piece for a collector.
Dial - The dial is in fantastic condition and shows very little wear whatsoever.
Case - The case is in good condition for its age and is showing light signs of wear.
Crown - The crown is fully original and Omega signed. It is also working perfectly. The time and date change very smoothly. To change the date, the crown needs to be pulled out to its first position and rotated. To change the time it needs to be pulled out to its second position and rotated.
Movement - The movement is fully original and is in superb condition both mechanically and cosmetically.
Case back - The case back is also in great condition showing light scratches from tools.
Strap - The watch has been put on a lovely leather strap which looks and feels amazing!
Crystal - We have just fitted a brand new acrylic.
For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
