Condition

This is an absolutely beautiful Omega Geneve Automatic from the early 1970s. This example is in superb condition for its age showing just light signs of wear. The watch features a stunning brushed, silver colour dial which displays a fully functional date complication and lovely gold baton markers and hands encased in a large gold plated case. Mechanically, the watch is working perfectly and keeping great time within specification. 

Dial - The dial is in fantastic condition and shows very little wear whatsoever. 

Case - The gold plated case is in great condition and is showing common scratches and signs of wear. 

Crown - The crown is fully original and Omega signed. It is also working perfectly. The time and date change very smoothly. To change the date, the crown needs to be pulled out to its first position and rotated. To change the time it needs to be pulled out to its second position and rotated. 

Movement - The Omega 1012 automatic movement is fully original and in superb condition both mechanically and cosmetically.  

Case back - The case back is also original, Omega stamped and in great condition, only showing light scratches from tools.

Strap - The watch has been put on a lovely leather strap which looks and feels amazing! 

Crystal - The crystal is in excellent condition, only showing little scratches visible on closer inspection. To the naked eye, it looks perfectly clear and displays the stunning dial beautifully. 

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
