Condition

This is a lovely vintage Omega Geneve Automatic Date from 1972 in very nice vintage condition featuring lightly brushed silver tone dial with silver and black baton indices and a date complication, all encased in a stainless steel round case with straight lugs. Mechanically, the watch has been fully serviced and is working excellently, keeping very good time within specification. 

Dial - The dial is in excellent condition, marks free, showing little age under a loupe.

Case - The stainless steel case is in excellent condition, showing light common wear.

Crown - The original Omega signed crown is in full working order and remains in fantastic condition. 

Movement - This piece encases its original 1481 automatic Omega movement which is in excellent order following a full service, working very well within specifications. 

Case back - The case back on this piece is original and show some very light scratches. It also carries an engraving dedicated to the man it was bought for and who is listed on the guarantee certificate which adds to the history.

Strap - The watch has been put on a high quality aftermarket strap. 

Crystal - The acrylic crystal is in brilliant condition and shows only very fine signs of wear under magnification. 

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear! It is also the perfect watch for a collector.
