Condition

This is a truly stunning vintage Omega from the late 1960s that features a beautiful sunburst dial with faceted baton gilt and black markers and a date complication, all encased in a gold placed case. The automatic 565 movement which is in amazing condition both cosmetically and mechanically for its age. This piece is running very nicely and keeping great time within specification.

Dial - The impressive and very distinctive dial on this piece is in superb order for its age. There are some imperfections related to the age of the watch, but these are only visible on close inspection.

Case - The gold plated case is in really good condition for the watch’s age. There are a few light scratches and marks which don’t impact the overall look of this watch on your wrist at all.

Crown - This piece has its original Omega signed crown which changes the time and date perfectly. To change the time, the crown is pulled out to its first position and rotated. To change the date, the crown is pulled out to the second position and the date will flick over. 

Movement - The original Omega automatic movement is keeping great time and in excellent condition.

Case back - The case back is in excellent condition for its age with light wear.

Strap - The watch sits on an new high quality leather strap which looks amazing and has a luxury feel on the wrist.

Crystal - The original, Omega signed crystal is in excellent condition, showing only minor imperfections on close inspection.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
