Condition

Here we have a stunning vintage Omega Geneve Automatic from 1970 featuring the fantastic and fascinating Shantung dial in silver colour which is curved on the outer edges to give the design higher presence. To finish its elegant look, this special dial is further enhanced by faceted two-tone markers and a date complication. This piece is in excellent condition for its age and is running very nicely, keeping great time within specification.

Dial - The dial on this piece is in really nice condition, looking fantastic and only showing very little signs of age on close inspection.

Case - The polished stainless steel case is also in excellent condition for the watch’s age. There are a few common scratches and marks which don’t impact the overall look of this watch on your wrist. 

Crown - This piece has its original, Omega signed crown which works perfectly. To change the time, the crown is pulled out to its first position and rotated. To change the date, the crown is pulled out to the second position and the date will flick over. 

Movement - The original Omega automatic 565 movement is in excellent condition both cosmetically and mechanically. 

Case back - The case back is in excellent condition for its age. It is showing only mild common wear.

Strap - We have put a new leather strap on this watch, which looks amazing. 

Crystal - The original, Omega signed crystal does have a few little imperfections. These are barely noticeable and don’t impact the overall look of this piece.
