Condition

This is a lovely 1970s vintage Omega Geneve which features a rare gold track dial. This definitely gives the watch a slightly 70s sporty look! The watch is in good condition for its age and is showing light signs of vintage wear. Mechanically, the watch is working very well and is keeping good time well within specification! 

Dial - The dial is in near mint condition and is not showing any signs of wear. 

Case - This watch features a gold plated case which is in good condition. There are light scratches and marks which come with use over the years. 

Crown - The crown is original and Omega signed. The plating is faded on it however, it works perfectly in all of its functions. To change the time pull out the crown to its first setting and turn. To change the date, pull out the crown to its second position and the date will flick forward. 

Movement - This watch is powered by its original 565 Automatic movement which looks almost brand new! Mechanically it is also functioning very nicely. 

Case back - The case back features an engraving that dates from 1973. The watch was gifted to an employee at Boots after their 25 years of service! We believe that this is what makes vintage watches special. 

Strap - This watch is on an aftermarket light brown strap which suits it perfectly! It is of high quality and has a comfortable and luxurious feel on your wrist! 

Crystal - The Crystal is in good condition for its age. It is displaying some light scratching which is pretty much invisible in most light settings. 

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
