Condition

This is an absolutely spectacular and rare vintage Omega Geneve from the 1970s. It is very rare to come across the gold plated version of this reference number that is in near mint condition as this one is. Usually the bracelet suffers badly from wear as does the case, but not in this example which has clearly had very limited use and is as near to new condition as you are likely to get! This piece features a beautiful silver sunburst dial which displays a fully functional date complication. The watch is working perfectly and keeping excellent time. PLUS - this comes with its original international guarantee (please note this is blank which was not uncommon at the time of these watches being sold), inner box, outer box, original purchase receipt and the 'You and Your Omega' booklet! It is so nice when a watch has everything it originally came with 50 years ago. A true collectors piece.

Dial - The dial is in mint condition.

Case - The gold plated case is in near mint condition. Just some fine scratches here or there, but the brush work on the front of the case is superb and is also in near mint condition. It reallly looks superb!

Crown - This piece features its original Omega stamped crown which works perfectly in all its functions. 

Movement - This watch houses a fully functional 1012 Automatic movement which is in perfect working order and is keeping excellent time well within specification. 

Case back - This piece features its original back case which is in nice condition. 

Strap - The original bracelet is in fantastic condition and shows just light wear. 

Crystal - The original crystal with the Omega logo in the centre is in excellent condition showing little to no signs of wear. 

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
