Condition

This is a lovely vintage and rare variant of the Omega Geneve Automatic. This particular example is a day/date and has an interesting and quite a complicated movement because of the crown's functionality. The watch is in fantastic condition and has clearly had limited use. We have just had the watch fully serviced and mechanically it is working perfectly and is keeping good time, well within specification. 

Dial - The silver sunburst dial is in mint condition.

Case - This model features a gold plated case which is in nice vintage condition and shows minor signs of wear. 

Crown - The original Omega signed crown is in full working order. At position one you can change the date. At position two if you turn it clockwise you can change the time and if you turn it anti-clockwise you can change the day. It is the functionality at position two which makes it quite a complicated and rare movement.

Movement - This piece encases its original 1022 automatic Omega movement which is in perfect order both cosmetically and mechanically. 

Case back - The case back on this piece is original and shows light wear. 

Strap - The watch has been put on a high quality aftermarket strap which is in brand new condition. 

Crystal - We have just fitted a brand new acrylic.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
