Condition

We always love stocking a Chronostop especially one that has survived so well. The brush work on the front and sides of the case of this particular example remains in superb condition with relatively little wear which is quite rare to find these days. It is not difficult to find a Chronostop for sale, but finding one relatively unscathed with a case that is still close to how it looked all those decades ago feels like a real find and this is one such example. The watch features a matte black racing dial which displays a timing function which is activated by the pusher at the top right of the watch. Everything is working as it should and the watch is keeping excellent time, well within specification

Dial - The dial is in near mint condition. The lume spots are present albeit now aged. This is a really nice dial!

Case - Fantastic case, brush work on the front and sides all excellent, it hasn't been polished or scratched to death!

Crown - The original crown is in perfect working order. 

Movement - This piece is powered by its original Omega 865 Manual wind movement which is in perfect working order. The watch is keeping time well within vintage specification. 

Case back - The case back is original and is in great condition although here there are a few scratches from case back opening.

Strap - We have fitted a brand new leather strap.

Crystal - In excellent condition. This is the original acrylic with the Omega logo present in the centre.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
