Condition
This case reference is relatively common, but in 18ct gold form it is very rare as production numbers were never that high because it was a very high end specification for the 1970s. This particular example has survived very well indeed would have been at the top of the tree in terms of cost. It is an extremely well preserved example with no marks on the dial, something which is normally quite common for this case reference. All of the old lume spots are present and the hands are also in very nice condition with no signs of oxidation. The case is also very good indeed with the odd scratch as you would expect, but otherwise a very beautiful watch in 18ct gold with such an attractive dial configuration. It is working perfectly and keeping excellent time. Please view the images as these form part of the description.
Dial - This Omega features a stunning silver sunburst dial which is in near mint condition. The gold tone baton markers with onyx coloured inserts are also in great condition.
Crystal - The watch features its original acrylic with the Omega logo in the centre and it is in superb condition with no marks visible to the naked eye.
Case - The solid gold 18ct case is in excellent preseved condition with just a few scratches as you would expect of a watch of this age.
Back case - The solid 18ct gold back case has some minor scratches.
Strap - This is an aftermarket authentic leather strap which compliments the watch beautifully.
Movement - This watch is keeping excellent time, well within vintage specification.
