Condition

This is a beautiful vintage Omega that features a manual 601 movement which has been subject to a recent full service and is now keeping excellent time for a watch of this age. The original Shantung textured dial makes the watch stand out and is a unique design.

Dial - This piece features a beautiful patterned dial which is in excellent condition and is showing no obvious marks to the naked eye. This dial is very uncommon and was only produced for a few models! 

Case - The gold plated case is in good condition for the watch’s age. There are some minor dents and small scratches which can be seen in the pictures. There are some minor chips to the back of the case where it sits against the case back. This doesn’t impact the overall look of this watch on your wrist. These are only things that are really noticeable at close inspection.

Crown - The watch retains its original crown which works perfectly and pulls out smoothly. 

Movement - The manual movement has just been fully serviced and is keeping great time.

Case back - The case back is in excellent condition for its age. It is showing a few scratches from tools being used on the case back over the years.

Strap - The watch sits on a brand new leather strap. Despite not being the original strap for this model, it compliments the gold case beautifully. 

Crystal - The crystal does have a few very light scratches which come with age. These are barely noticeable even at close inspection and don’t impact the overall look of this piece whatsoever. 

For a watch if this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
