Condition

This is an absolutely stunning vintage Omega Geneve Manual wind from the 1960s featuring the desirable sunburst dial with simple and elegant gold and black baton indices and hands, encased in a lovely gold plated case. This watch is in excellent condition for its age showing just light signs of wear. The watch is working perfectly and is keeping excellent time well within specification.

Dial - The dial is in excellent condition for a watch from the late 1960s, showing only very little signs of age with mild patina. 

Case - The gold plated case is in lovely condition and is showing signs of common light wear, with some plating loss on lugs and in between where the strap is. It really is in great order for a watch of this age. 

Crown - The crown is original with a little wear off the gold plating. It is working perfectly in all of its functions. 

Movement - The 601 manual wind movement is in outstanding condition both cosmetically and mechanically and works perfectly! 

Case back - The case back is in excellent condition showing just light marks. There some abrasions to the edges where tools have been used to open the watch for servicing for all these decades.

Strap - We have put this watch on a new luxury leather strap which is of very high quality and looks brilliant on the watch. 

Crystal - The crystal is in excellent condition, showing little wear on closer inspection, otherwise stunningly showcases the dial behind.  

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
