Condition

This vintage manual wind Omega is in fantastic condition for its age both cosmetically and mechanically. The watch is keeping great time within specification. This example comes as a full set with its original presentation box, International Guarantee and 'You and Your Omega' booklet. 

Dial - Fantastic condition with the odd mark and just a few spots which can be seen under magnification. The silver sunburst dial has lovely gold tone baton markers with Onyx coloured inserts. All of the lume spots are still present.

Case - The case is in excellent condition, it displays a brushed finish at the front which is still quite clear. Signs of wear are relatively minor and show mainly as some light scratches and marks, mainly on the sides of the case. 

Crystal - The original acrylic is in great conditon with some minor marks when viewed under magnification.

Strap - We have fitted a new leather strap.

Back case - The back case is in good condition for its age and still displays its brushwork with minor scratches and marks as you would expect of a watch of this age. There is also an inscription which gives the watch some unique history.

Crown - The crown is original and displays the Omega logo. It is fully functional, but has experienced some wear to the plating.

Movement - The watch’s 601 Manual Wind movement is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. It is keeping great time, well within specification.
