This is a stunning manual wind Omega Geneve from 1970 featuring the fabulous Shantung silver dial with silver and black hour markers and hands, encased in a lovely stainless steel case. This example is in fantastic condition for its age including the mechanism which is working perfectly, keeping excellent time and well within specification.
Dial - The dial is in brilliant condition and is showing no visible marks.
Crystal - The original, Omega signed crystal is in great condition for its age and has some very light scratches which are barely noticeable.
Case - The stainless steel case shows some light scratching that comes with age. However, overall, it is in great condition with its original beautiful brushwork still visible.
Crown - The original, Omega signed crown is in excellent condition and works perfectly in all its functions.
Movement - The manual wind Cal. 601 movement is in fantastic condition both cosmetically and mechanicaly, running perfectly. To wind the watch, turn the crown clockwise 20-30 times until you feel resistance. Please do not try to overwind it beyond this point.
Strap - This watch comes on a high quality leather strap with an Omega buckle, which suits it perfectly and has a luxurious look and feel on your wrist!
Back Case - The also original back case is in fantastic condition, only showing very light signs of wear.
For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
