Condition

This is an absolutely gorgeous vintage solid 9ct yellow gold Omega Manual Wind from 1963 which has a spectacular and umarked linen dial which you rarely come across. This ranks as our favourite 9ct model with a very attractive case design combined with a truly amazing linen effect dial. What makes this example even better is that it is one owner from new and comes with its original presentation box, outer box, Omega guarantee and You and Your Omega booklet as well as a guarantee certificate from the supplying jeweller and even the original invoice! The condition really is exceptional and The long gold tone baton markers and gold hands look amazing against the linen dial. Mechanically, this piece is working perfectly and is keeping great time, well within specification. 

Dial - The rare linen dial is in mint condition, absolutely beautiful.

Case - The solid gold case is in superb condition, showing some very minor wear throughout. 

Crown - The original Omega signed crown is in excellent condition and is in full working order. 

Movement - The Omega manual wind movement is working perfectly in all functions, keeping great time. 

Case back - The 9k gold case back is in excellent condition showing minor wear.

Strap - This piece still has its original Omega strap and 9ct buckle. We have fitted a new strap, but the old one will come with the watch as it is an important part of its history.

Crystal - The acrylic crystal is in excellent condition with no visible marks.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
