Condition

This is a stunning and unique Omega Seamaster from 1956 which is in absolutely lovely patinated condition with the unique and distinctive feature of hooded or scarab lugs. This example features a two tone dial combining arabic numerals and arrow markers with oxidation across the dial face giving the watch a completely unique and impressive look when combined with the broad lug design.

Dial - The dial has unique patination across the face. 

Case - The stainless steel case is in good condition for its age and shows wear that you would expect of a 70 year old watch.

Crown - This piece has its original Omega signed crown which is in full working order and works smoothly in all of its functions.  

Movement - This piece encases its original 501 automatic movement which works absolutely perfectly. 

Case back - The case back is in excellent condition showing wear that is commensurate with the age of the watch.

Strap - We have put the watch on a new black leather strap.

Crystal - The acrylic is in excellent condition with minor wear that is not visible to the naked eye.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
