Condition

This is an absolutely superb vintage Omega Seamaster Automatic which features a silver tone dial with arabic numerals at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 position, more commonly known as an Explorer dial. The watch is in extremey nice condition for its age and is showing signs of light wear! Mechanically, the watch is working perfectly and keeping good time within specification.  This example has the added bonus of coming with its original box (please note one side has ripped and is loose), the International Guarantee and the 'You and Your Omega' booklet. The guarantee shows a slighty different last four digits on the reference which is not uncommon for British made cases which were manufactured concurrently. The serial number matches the number on the watch. 

Dial - The dial is in excellent vintage condition with a very light patina that can be seen under magnification. 

Case - The solid gold case is in very good condition and is showing minor and light signs of wear due to age! 

Crown - The crown is original and Omega signed. It is working perfectly in all of its functions. 

Movement - This watch is powered by its original 552 Automatic movement which is working well and keeping good time. 

Case back - The solid gold case back is fully original and features the famous Seamaster logo which is rare to find on a lot of vintage Seamaster. 

Strap - This piece comes with a new after market brown leather strap.

Crystal - The original acrylic crystal with the Omega logo in the centre is in excellent condition and is showing little signs of wear whatsoever. 

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
