Condition

This is a stunning vintage Omega Seamaster that was introduced in 1948 as a "watch for the active man"! The classy black dial with the desirable baton dart indexes combined with luminous dauphine hands and a gold framed date complication sitting in a gold plated case with chunky lugs exude early 60s charm. This piece is in lovely, well preserved condition for its age and only shows light signs of wear. This watch has just been serviced, the movement is running well and keeping excellent time within specification. 

Dial - The dial is showing age under loupe but remains in very good condition and looks absolutely beautiful when looking at it with naked eyes. The lume on indexes is no longer working and only partially on hands, which is common for a watch of this age. The date complication is in great cosmetic and working condition. 

Case - The gold plated case is in great condition and shows just light wear which comes with age. 

Crown - This piece features its original crown, which is in good condition, showing loss of plating. It works perfectly in all of its functions. To set the date, wind the watch back to 11o'clock, when you hear it click, go forward to change the date.

Movement - This model encases its original 503 automatic movement which has just been serviced and is running perfectly, keeping excellent time within specification. 

Case back - The case back features the famous Seamaster logo and is in great overall condition. There are some light signs of general wear. 

Strap - The watch has been put on a high quality leather strap which has a luxury look and feel on your wrist! 

Crystal - The crystal is in mint condition.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
