Condition

This is a stunning and very rare Omega Seamaster Automatic 'Baby Flightmaster' from 1970. A quick inspection of the watch and you can see it has had limited use during its life. The mineral glass is unmarked as is the dial which is a real stunner. The inner bezel is also unmarked and a real feature of this watch given its prominence. The case design is quite unique and follows an almost tonneau style similar to that used for the brother it is nicknamed after, namely the Flightmaster.  This piece is in superb condition and keeping time that is well within specification. This one is in the rare 40 micron gold plate with a gold coloured dial and a fully functioning date complication.

Dial - Mint 

Case - The case is in excellent condition. The brushwork on the case is still present and shows just minor scratches. There is a small ding at the edge of the case just in front of the crown.

Crystal - The crystal is in near mint condition with no marks noticeable to the naked eye.

Back case - The back case features the famous Seamaster logo and is in great condition. There is just one chip on the back of one of the top lugs which is hidden when the watch is worn.

Crown - The crown is original and in superb condition. Position 1 enables you to change the date and position 2 to change the time. 

Movement - Mint, keeping perfect time and well within specification. 

Strap - This example has been fitted with a brand new high quality leather strap.
