Condition

This is a stunning Omega Seamaster Automatic from the late 1970s. The watch features a beautiful and original brushed silver sunburst dial which displays a fully functional day-date complication. Please see pictures as they form part of the description. 

Dial - The dial is in lovely vintage aged condition. As can be seen in the photos the dial has a slight patina tint to it. And some wear in a couple of spots. The most prominent being left of the day window. 

Case - The case is in good vintage condition. The front of the case has very minimal scratching and the brushed finish remains nearly perfect. The sides of the case do have some light scratching however, this is minimal and definitely doesn’t have an impact on the overall aesthetic of the watch.

Crystal - The crystal is original and is showing little to no signs of wear. 

Back case - The back case of this watch features the famous Seamaster logo and is in lovely vintage condition.

Movement - Mechanically this watch is excellent. Its last service in March of this year has brought the performance of the movement to nearly what it would be out of the factory. The watch is currently keeping time within specification.

Strap - The strap on this Seamaster is unfortunately not it’s original. Nevertheless, it suits it very well and is of a high quality.
