Condition

This is an absolutely superb vintage Omega from the late 1960s which features a stunning frosted dial which displays a fully functional day-date complication. This watch is in excellent condition inside and out showing limited signs of wear. The movement has just been subject to a full service and is now operating perfectly for a watch of its age and is keeping time within 5 seconds per day. Unfortunately the watch doesn’t come with box and papers as they have been lost at some point in its lifetime. However, we will provide a leather presentation box and travel pouch as photographed.

Dial - The dial is in near perfect condition with no obvious marks.

Case - The case is in brilliant condition showing just a few small scratches and the odd tiny dent. Please see the pictures to confirm this for yourself.

Crystal - The acrylic domed crystal is in good condition and is showing just a few very light scratches which are only noticeable in certain light and at close inspection.

Crown - This piece has its original Omega signed crown which is fully operational. To change the time, pull the crown out to its first setting and advance the clock hands forwards. To change the date, pull the crown out to its second position and the date will flick over. To change the day on this model, you will need to manually wind the hands forwards. When changing the time, the seconds hand will slightly jump forwards which is very common on Vintage Omegas and happens to almost all of them.

Case back - The case back on this model features the iconic Seamaster logo and is original to the watch. In terms of its condition, it’s showing a few marks from tools however, nothing serious.

Movement - As mentioned before the movement is fully serviced and fully operational. Cosmetically, it is in great condition as can be seen via the photos.

Strap - The strap is not original to the watch. However, it is of fine quality and has a comfortable and luxurious feel on your wrist.

At under £1000, this Seamaster provides incredible value for money. To have the Omega name on your wrist for just £899 is unheard of with other brands of this status and quality.
