Condition

This is an absolutely spectacular and rare vintage Omega Seamaster from 1979. This piece features a beautiful blue dial which displays a fully functional Day-Date complication. The watch is in perfect working order and is keeping excellent time, well within specification. It is what we would describe as near new old stock. Apart from the odd mark it is almost like new. Plus - the watch comes with its original watch box that Omega issued with bracelet watches along with its International Guarantee.

Dial - Mint brushed blue dial. When it catches the light it is spectacular.

Case - The odd minor scratch and ding, but otherwise near new. The brushwork on the front is all intact. Overall the case is in superb condition.

Crown - This piece features its original Omega stamped crown which works nicely in all its functions. To change the date, pull the crown out once and rotate. To change the day, pull the crown out again and turn anti-clockwise and clockwise to change the time.

Movement - This watch houses a fully functional 1020 Automatic movement which is in perfect working order and is keeping excellent time, well within specification. 

Case back - The back case of this watch features the famous Seamaster logo and is in near perfect condition.

Strap - This watch retains an original Omega bracelet which is in superb condition and complements the watch perfectly.

Crystal - We have fitted a new acrylic. 

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
