Condition

This is an incredibly rare Omega Seamaster De Ville from the 1960s which features an absolutely stunning linen dial. The watch is in overall great condition for its age with the exception of an outward facing dent just above the nine baton which shows as a darkened spot in the photographs. Aside from this, the quality of the dial is exceptional and the combination of the gold coloured faceted baton markers rally looks amazing on this dial. We have just had this piece fully serviced and calibrated to ensure that it is keeping excellent time within specification. 

Dial - If it wasn't for the minor dent at just above the nine baton, this would rank as one of the best linen dials we have seen. Given the quality of the dial we find it easy to forgive the issue above the nine, but we have priced the watch at a significant discount to reflect this. 

Case - The stainless steel case is in good condition and shows some signs of wear. 

Crown - This watch features its original Omega signed crown which works perfectly in all of its functions. 

Movement - The watch encases its original 552 automatic Omega movement which is in both flawless cosmetic and mechanical condition. It has just been fully serviced.

Case back - The monocoque case back is in great condition and features the famous Seamaster logo! 

Strap - We have put this watch on a high quality leather strap which works perfectly with this watch. It also has a luxurious look and feel on your wrist. 

Crystal - We have fitted a brand new acrylic.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
