Condition

This superb vintage Omega Seamaster Quartz Date Ref. 196.0275 dates to 1983 and is a particularly attractive example, distinguished by its unusual and rare dial and bezel combination. The watch features a beautifully detailed, finely textured waffle pattern across the central dial, complemented by a contrasting outer minute-track band and a date aperture at 3 o’clock. Surrounding the dial is an equally distinctive finely patterned bezel, featuring an intricate hobnail-style texture that catches the light beautifully and adds considerable visual interest to the otherwise smooth case, with its signature Omega “moon” ends.

The watch is fitted with its original Omega integrated bracelet with articulated links, which complements the case exceptionally well. Powered by the reliable Omega quartz calibre 1432, this Seamaster has been fully serviced and is currently running perfectly and keeping excellent time. The combination of its rare dial, unusual textured bezel, original Omega bracelet and distinctive early-quartz styling makes this a highly appealing vintage Seamaster for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

Dial - The dial is superb, showing light, charming signs of age on closer inspection.

Case - Excellent condition, showing light vintage wear. The bezel is perfect on the top, with light wear to the side.

Crown - The original crown is in great condition and works perfectly.

Movement - The original Omega 1432 Quartz is in brilliant condition and works excellently. This watch has been fully serviced.

Case back - The case back is original and in excellent vintage condition, showing common light wear. 

Strap - The original bracelet is in excellent condition showing common light signs of wear.
