Condition

This is an absolutely superb vintage 18K gold filled Omega Automatic which features a beautiful gold, lightly brushed dial with sub seconds and facetted Dauphine hands and baton indices. The watch is in brilliant condition, hardly showing any signs of age, which, for a 1940 watch is extremely rare! Mechanically, the watch is working perfectly and keeping good time within specification. 

Dial - The dial is in excellent condition and shows only very light marks. 

Case - The gold filled case is in fantastic condition for its age and shows only minimal signs of wear.

Crown - The crown is original and Omega signed. It is working perfectly in all of its functions. 

Movement - This watch is powered by its original 342 Automatic Bumper movement which is working perfectly and keeping good time. 

Case back - The 18K gold filled case back is fully original and is in excellent condition. 

Strap - This piece comes with a very high quality after market reddish-brown and gold strap which has a luxurious feel on your wrist! 

Crystal - The acrylic crystal is in mint condition. 

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
