Description
This Patek Philippe Calatrava Automatic Date Ref. 3802 represents one of the finest dress watches ever produced. As a desirable first-series production run example, it is powered by the highly regarded and rarer in-house Calibre 310 SC automatic movement fitted only to the earliest examples of the reference, making it particularly appealing to collectors. Made from solid 18ct yellow gold, the elegant 33mm case is beautifully complemented by Patek Philippe's iconic Clous de Paris hobnail bezel, and a beautifully preserved dial distinguished by its elegant round-raised-dot pattern contrasted by a striking oversized blued centre seconds hand. Further enhancing its originality, the case back retains its original Patek Philippe factory protective sticker, an increasingly rare feature that speaks to the watch's careful preservation. The watch remains exceptionally original throughout, retaining its signed Patek Philippe winding crown, original signed leather strap, and matching 18ct gold Patek Philippe pin buckle. An unspoilt and highly original example, this Calatrava remains in outstanding condition, running perfectly and keeping excellent time.
