Condition

This is a fantastic vintage Rolex Datejust Ref. 16013, a reference first introduced in 1976. This particular example dates to 1986 and features a 36mm Oyster Rolesor case, combining stainless steel with 18ct yellow gold fluted bezel. The stunning gold sunburst dial is beautifully displayed through its original acrylic crystal, which incorporates Rolex's iconic Cyclops magnifier over the date complication. The watch remains in a magnificent condition, showing only very fine signs of age. The automatic movement is running perfectly within vintage specifications, keeping excellent time. 

Dial - The dial is in brilliant condition, showing only a couple of tiny dots under magnification and very light signs of age.

Case - This piece features a stainless steel case and 18ct gold bezel which are in fantastic condition and show little signs of use. 

Crown - The crown is its original Rolex screw down and is in excellent condition and works perfectly in all of its functions. 

Movement - This model houses its original Rolex Calibre 3035 automatic movement, which is flawless in every way, keeping perfect time. 

Case back - The case back is original with all of its Rolex markings on the inner, it shows little signs of wear only. 

Bracelet - We have put this fantastic timepiece on a new luxurious leather strap which suits this watch perfectly.

Crystal - The watch features an acrylic crystal which was standard for Rolex watches of this era. The crystal is in excellent condition showing only very light signs of wear under a loupe.
