Description

This is a stunning Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust from 1996, featuring a crisp white dial adorned with applied Roman numeral hour markers. A charming detail found on Rolex's Roman numeral dials is the use of the centuries-old horological convention, the watchmaker's "IIII" in place of the conventional Roman numeral "IV" at the four o'clock position, which enhances the visual balance and symmetry of the dial. The stainless steel Oyster case is complemented by a polished smooth bezel and further enhanced by the original Rolex Jubilee bracelet. Powered by Rolex's renowned automatic movement, the watch is running perfectly and keeping excellent time within expected vintage specifications. This is a beautiful example in brilliant condition both cosmetically and mechanically.

Condition

Dial - The dial is in mint condition. 

Case - This stainless steel case and polished bezel are in fantastic condition and show only very light signs of use. 

Crown - The crown is its original Rolex screw down in excellent condition and works perfectly in all of its functions. 

Movement - This model houses its original Rolex automatic movement, which is fantastic in every way, keeping excellent time for a watch of this age. 

Case back - The case back is original with all of its Rolex markings on the inner. It shows only light signs of wear from use over its decades of life. 

Bracelet - The original jubilee bracelet is in fantastic condition as the rest of the watch, showing only very light wear and flex. 

Crystal - The watch features an acrylic crystal which was standard for Rolex watches of this era. The crystal is in mint condition.
