History 

This Rolex Datejust 1601 Oyster Perpetual Automatic from 1975 is a timeless 36mm stainless steel classic, featuring a stunning sunburst silver-tone dial and a date complication viewed through an acrylic crystal with Cyclops magnifier. With its vintage elegance, a fluted solid 18ct white gold bezel and refined proportions of the Oyster case, this piece offers both everyday wearability and strong collector appeal. This exceptional Rolex example is working very well in all aspects and keeping excellent time within vintage specifications.

Condition

Dial - The dial is in very nearly perfect condition, really well preserved, showing little age under magnification. 

Case - The stainless steel case with a solid 18ct white gold fluted bezel is in excellent condition, showing common signs of wear whilst maintaining its original finishing brushwork on the front of the case beautifully.

Crown - The original Rolex crown works perfectly in all of its functions, operating smoothly for both winding and time-setting operations.

Movement - The Rolex Cal. 1570 automatic movement is working flawlessly, keeping excellent time within specification for a watch of this age.

Case back - The case back is also original and in excellent condition, showing light signs of wear with clear markings on the inside.

Strap - Aftermarket strap with buckle. 

Crystal - The crystal is in mint condition.

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and represents a fantastic example of understated class in vintage Rolex collecting.
