Condition

This stunning 1970 Rolex Air-King is in fantastic condition for its age. The watch shows only very light signs of wear and features a beautiful silver-tone sunburst dial. The watch is also in brilliant mechanical condition, working very well and keeping excellent time.  

Dial - Fantastic condition. Showing only very minor signs of age, visible on closer inspection.

Case - The case is in fantastic condition and shows very light signs of use only. 

Crown - The crown is its original Rolex screw down and is in excellent condition and works perfectly in all of its functions. 

Movement - This piece is powered by its original Rolex calibre 1520 automatic, keeping fantastic time and all of its functions are working excellently. 

Case back - The case back is original with all of its Rolex markings on the inner. It shows some little signs of wear from use over its decades of life. 

Strap - We have put this fabulous watch on a new leather strap which suits the watch perfectly and has a luxury feel on the wrist.

Crystal - The watch features an acrylic crystal which was standard for Rolexes of this era, showing only very fine imperfections on closer inspection.
