This Rolex almost needs no introduction given its significant fame on Instagram! Firstly, let's talk about the watch itself which is a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Automatic Air King from  from 1975 featuring a silver tone sunburst dial in a stylish and timeless stainless steel case. This watch is in excellent condition for its age and shows the normal signs of wear that you would associate with a watch of this age such as scratches and minor dents in the case. The watch is also in fantastic mechanical condition, working perfectly in all functions, keeping excellent time with stats which suggest it has been recently serviced. Now, the the thing that sets this AirKing apart from all others is the custom depiction of two cherries hanging over the centre of the dial. This was put on the watch by a prior custodian and the depiction is a one off, you are not going to find another like it. We appreciate the aesthetics will not appeal to everyone, but if you want a Rolex that is going to create a conversation wherever you go, this is the one as you are not going to find another or likely have an opportunity for many years to buy this one once it is sold. Judging by the amount of interest it has created and its internet following, we expect it to sell very quickly!

Dial - Excellent condition, showing little to no signs of wear.

Case - This piece features a stainless steel case which is in excellent condition and shows the normal signs of use that you would associate with a watch of this age.

Crown - The crown is its original Rolex signed screw down and is in excellent condition and works perfectly in all of its functions. 

Movement - This model houses its original Rolex Calibre 1570 automatic movement which is flawless in every way and is keeping fantastic time for a watch of this age. 

Case back - The case back is original with all of its Rolex markings on the inner and in excellent condition.

Bracelet - The watch sits on its original jubilee bracelet which is showing just light signs of wear.

Crystal - The watch features an acrylic crystal which was standard for Rolexes of this era. The crystal is in fantastic condition, nice and clear.
